The weekend has come an gone.... Although only one of the Shades of the Past folks bought anything this weekend, I did have a good bite on Cabernet Sauvignon. A local stopped by the gallery and remarked that he really liked that one.

I guess now we will just wait and see how the Fall Grand Rod Rod does for us. I have ramped up my inventory of automotive art and have an entire section in the gallery devoted to it now.

It seems that i am not the only one who desires to get a book out into the world. I spoke with a friend of mine today who says they have 6 chapters of a 11 or 12 chapter book finished.

So now i wonder, who will get their book out first.. mine has been in the thinking stages for years and really just lacks a few lines of text. But then of course my book is a photo book, so it's not like I wrote a novel to go with it.

Maybe you have a book too.... Are you an aspiring young writer... or maybe an old writer?

Well it was a super Sunday... A tourist that was here on Saturday, came back today and picked up 4 pieces. Which is really cool, especially since she waited on me to get here after church. Buck, Left Turns, Old Yeller and a misc T-Bird print were the ones she chose.

I talked with other merchants of other types of businesses today and it seems that business is slow in every sector. I hope that things change soon so that people don't end up getting laid off or even losing their jobs to this recession... which supposedly we are not in.
